I have tried to contact the customer without success. I regret that the communication became heated at the service counter. Please bear in mind this all occurred on a Friday after record setting temperatures in a heat wave. It is also our policy that we do not release a vehicle until the customer has paid in full for services rendered. We do not look for other work to recommend to the customer unless the customer requests an inspection. It is our policy to focus on the customers primary concerns and fix the problem(s) at hand necessary to correct any complaints. The vehicle was released to him promptly after payment was received. We offered to let the vehicle sit over the weekend and retest for the no start problem. He really believed that we did not do enough to correct his complaint. He criticized the technician at the counter and disputed the diagnosis. The customer arrived heated and upset and was very argumentative and insulting. Customer was contacted for vehicle pick up on Friday 06/24. On Friday, the vehicle started with no problem and the battery replacement took care of the customer complaint. The ** test resulted in a faulty compressor and customer declined further repairs. On Thursday 06/23 customer approved our estimate for a new battery install and top post connector and then requested and ** test service. Vehicle arrived late on Tuesday 06/21/22 and customer complained that the battery dies overnight, and vehicle will not start. Because of his poor attitude and being hostel with me I no longer wanted him to work on my vehicle. One of the main reasons for my complaint isn't so much the amount I paid but the very poor customer service I received from this mechanic and this place of business. I paid $485.60 total for a battery cable and a battery along with test and labor. I then called ********************* they made him give my vehicle back. I asked for my vehicle back and he refused to give it back to me. He insisted he keep my vehicle over the weekend to complete the work and I refused. And once I realized that when I went to pick the vehicle up I asked him was he sure that was the problem he replied with an attitude, was very disrespectful and hostile. But when I went to pick my vehicle up he had only checked the battery and nothing else. The mechanic stated he would start with the battery. I informed the mechanic to check the electrical and a couple of other things that I was having issues with. I took my vehicle a **** Dodge **** Truck in to Mr. This experience is based on the mechanic in ******** **.
